This was a new build and released on Nov. 2, 2011. First I did keyword research to help determine what would be the best domain name for his site and to use in the SEO of the site. I built this site using iThemes Builder and Builder Child Theme Cool Breeze. The client is a cartoonist and illustrator and he created his header/banner. I built the pages, created a custom footer, created and uploaded his favicon, watermarked and resized his images, added and set up Cart66Lite as his E-Commerce, set up the PayPal account, installed and set up All-in-One SEO pack and then trained the client’s sister to create pages, create posts, add images and add product to the shopping cart. This is a new custom build and was released in Aug., 2011. First I did keyword research to help determine what would be the best domain name for his site and to use in the SEO of the site. I built this site using iThemes Builder and Builder Child Theme Default, along with the Style Manager to customize the look and feel according to the client’s header/banner. I then added Plugin Buddies SlideShow plugin to have the slide show at the top of the home page. (this plugin can be used for any WordPress site), customized footer, images and content, and created and uploaded his favicon. The home page contains the header, custom navigation bar, slideshow, three widgets and a footer. The inside pages consist of the header customized navigation bar, content area, a right widget sidebar, and a customized footer. At this writing am awaiting images for his products to be added. This was a new build and released in Oct. 2011. First I did keyword research to help determine what would be the best domain name for her site and to use in the SEO of the site. I built this site using iThemes Builder and Builder Child Theme Dockside. The only thing left to add at this time is a video that will be on the home page. Combining two sites into one. The site on the left was built in FrontPage many years ago and had a link to the blog site built in WordPress. I am in the process of combining the static site and blog site into a new site using Builder. The new site will have the blog on the home page with internal static pages and blog pages. This is one of my largest builds. I’m in the process of taking information from the three FrontPage sites to the left and combining them into one site on the right using WordPress and Builder. With the flexibility of Builder I can make each “section” and site it’s own, adding different sidebars and other components. Many years ago, more then ten I believe, I taught this web site owner how to build a site in FrontPage. The site on the left is the one he built in FrontPage and the one on the right is the one I recently built for him in WordPress using Builder. Another client from days gone by that I taught how to create her own web site in FrontPage and have been coaching her for several years now. The client built the site on the left and and the one on the right is the one I built for her in WordPress using Builder, using her colors and layout. I then gave her an hour lesson on how to add pages, images, video, and blog. I continue to coach her and make any changes for her that she is not comfortable making. This client came to me many years ago and I continue to create and maintain her site. The site on the left was created completely with images and the text in the images, which meant the search engines weren’t really seeing her. She hired me to rebuild the site in FrontPage, and over the years it has gone with many variations.
