Things have been C R A Z Y here – in work and personal life! SO forgive me for not posting more.
In keeping with my last post about organizing my training manual, I decided it was time to organize my computer files too, especially the ones in my training folder.
Being on a whirlwind of taking training and training others I had let my computer files “just sit there” in no real organized fashion, which leads to lost productivity when I need something and need it quick.
Here is a “look see” of what my files/folders looked like before I organized them (Left column Training Folder and Right column some of the files):
I was just storing all my training materials under the folder Training with no rhyme or reason to them – I had to “hunt-down” something when I needed it – that just doesn’t work in my world; however like I said things have been very CRAZY here.
So I sat about the process of creating folders that matched the categories in my training manual and others that I take training from.
Here is a “look see” of what my files/folders look like now that they are organized:
As you can see I now have several folders (see right column) within the Training Folder (see left column) and I can now quickly and effortlessly find what I need when I need it.
